The Raiders Review – Big Priced Handicap Betting
Quick Summary
Introduction
Every now and then, a tipster service pops up with a track record that really stands out, but not just in terms of profit, but in how those profits were achieved.
The Raiders are a good example.
They recently won the Spring Tipping Competition run by On Course Profits, posting an impressive 86% ROI over three months.
All bets were proofed live, with results shared in real time, so no backfitting or selective reporting.
Their approach targets all-aged handicaps, which is a part of the racing calendar that many punters avoid due to its unpredictability. However, The Raiders seem to thrive in this space, combining runners at big odds with a staking strategy aiming to deliver consistent returns.

Putting It to the Test
Of course, past results are only part of the story.
This trial will follow their selections as they’re released, using BSP and place BSP odds to track performance. I’ll be logging everything here, every win, every losing run and everything in between.
I could not find an advised starting bank size, so I have set it at a standard 100 points.
Let’s see how The Raiders hold up when put to the test.

The Raiders Review Results
Results Update #1
I got a real taste of what The Raider’s strategy is all about during my first month of testing and it came in the form of a monster winner!
The BSP (Betfair SP) for the selection was a massive 74.14, landing a huge profit of 71.68 points from the win and 7.98 points from the place, after 2% commission was deducted.
To £10 stakes, that was £796.60 profit from the one race.
As you’d expect with this type of service, it wasn’t all plain sailing. The strike rate for the month was just 13.3%, but with odds like that, it only takes one to turn things around.
A 30.4% bank growth in a single month? That’s pretty extraordinary.
Here are my full results for the first month:
One month in and it’s already delivered a standout result, so here’s hoping there’s more to come.
Results Update #2
The Raiders have continued on from the amazing start to my trial in fine form, adding £293.60 profit (29.36 points) to the bank in month two.
It’s been quite a thrilling ride so far, with another huge winner going off at a BSP of 36.36.
This brings the total profit for the trial to £597.40 (59.74 points) from just two months of betting.
If the service can maintain this momentum, we could be looking at a very impressive set of results by the end of the trial.
Here are my full results for the second month:
I’ll continue tracking bets and will post another update once month three is complete.
Results Update #3
After two amazing months of results, the tipster really struggled in the third month of my trial.
I lost £398.90 (or 39.89 points) after two lengthy losing streaks.
The good news is, I’m still in profit overall with £198.50 to £10 stakes, but my ROI has slipped down to 6.89%. A strong month or two could soon lift that figure again.
Here are my latest results:
It’s been a setback, but I’ll carry on tracking for a while yet in the hope that results pick up.
