Putting it to the Test
The Inside Man recommends a relatively small 30-point starting bank. Using £50 stakes, this equates to a starting bank of £1,500, which was also a suitable level for my trial.
One potential drawback is that some of the markets Adam targets aren’t widely available across every bookmaker.
Bet365 is required for certain selections, although the majority of bets in the main football markets can still be followed without an account there.
I planned to track at least 200 bets before reaching a verdict, giving the service enough time and betting volume for the results to become meaningful.
Alongside the tipster’s official results, I recorded the odds I was personally able to obtain across multiple bookmakers wherever possible.
How The Inside Man Works
The service provides football tips only, with mostly win singles and some occasional spread bets (explained in the user guide). The advice includes the advised odds and the stakes that should be used for each bet.
All tips are sent out via email and also through a private Telegram group.

Trial Results
I originally planned to track around 200 bets for this review. By the end of the trial, I had followed The Inside Man for more than 10 months and recorded 213 selections.
The results were encouraging.
My betting bank increased by 52.52%, with a profit of 15.76 points and an ROI of 7.18%. These figures were also almost identical to the tipster’s reported results, which is particularly reassuring.
Because The Inside Man uses a relatively small 30 point starting bank, the points profit doesn’t immediately look spectacular. In monetary terms, however, a £1,500 starting bank with £50 stakes would have produced approximately £788 profit during my trial.
At the annual membership price at the time of my review, this would have left around £388 after subscription costs.
It’s also worth remembering that these calculations use level £50 stakes throughout. Someone increasing their stakes as their betting bank grew would potentially have achieved a higher monetary return, although naturally this would also increase the amount being risked.
From a practical perspective, I didn’t have any problems following the service. I was generally able to obtain the advised prices and, importantly, the trial avoided any particularly severe losing runs.
The main complication came from some of the long-term season bets. Several selections remained unsettled until the end of the season, meaning a noticeable proportion of the betting bank was tied up for an extended period.
For that reason, I’d consider keeping a separate allocation for season-long bets rather than taking those stakes directly from the main betting bank.
Aside from that issue, The Inside Man performed very well throughout my trial.

I was impressed with how closely my own results matched the tipster’s reported figures, while I also found the service straightforward to follow despite the wide variety of football markets covered.
The relatively low betting volume should suit anyone who prefers a more selective service rather than receiving large numbers of tips every day.
