Introduction

Welcome to my Ten Pound Tipster review, where I test out this horse racing tips service designed with the average punter in mind.

The whole idea of this tipping service is that you will be able to use £10 stakes and be able to make a decent amount of profit. This is after deducting membership fees, which are set at the price of…. you guessed it, £10 per month.

The tipster’s journey began after being fed up of experiencing unreliable tipping services. They figured they could do much better than what was already around, with their own rigorously tested system.

Since launching in January 2022, they’ve achieved a reported 343.73 points profit at Betfair SP, which works out as £3,437.30 based on their advised £10 stakes.

That’s quite a significant accomplishment that immediately caught my attention.

Consistent profitability at Betfair SP is a good inclination of a strong service and their track record is definitely impressive.

Tips are delivered early each morning, which gives you the flexibility to use bookmakers, which the tipster suggests usually offer better odds than Betfair SP. You can typically expect 2-3 tips daily, all as one-point each-way bets.

What is concerning is that much of the profit was produced in the first year and it has been fairly level since then. So is this horse racing tipster still worth following?

That is what I intend to find out in my Ten Pound Tipster review.

Putting It to the Test

I couldn’t find any formal advice on what sort of starting bank to use at first, but there is a note that you can get started with £1 stakes using a £50 bank.

On that basis, for £10 stakes you could assume £500 would be a good starting bank.

My plan was to follow the service for three months at a minimum, tracking all bets to BSP.

Key Details

The service provides horse racing tips each day at 6.00am. The advice is to bet on them at Betfair SP, or alternatively use a bookmaker which may give you better odds.

All tips are sent out via email, and that is the only way to access them.

Ten Pound Tipster Review Results

Results Update #1

It’s not often I get genuinely excited about a tips service, but it’s difficult not to be after the incredible start to my Ten Pound Tipster review.

I’m just two months into my trial and I’ve already doubled my starting bank of 50 points!

My total profit now stands at 72.79 points – that’s £729.70 profit staking £10 per point.

There have been frequent wins and places since I started, but a couple of big priced winners have made a real difference.

That’s the thing with betting at Betfair SP (BSP) – you never quite know what odds a horse will go off at. I’ve had selections go off as low as 1.07, but I’ve also landed winners at impressive odds of 25.66 and 25.00.

I even had one selection start at odds of 212.58! Of course, that one didn’t win – but imagine the return, even if it had just placed!

Here are my full results so far:

One thing I noted is that from 25th March onwards, the staking changed slightly.

Up until then, the guidance had been “1 point to win and 1 point to place (where there are 5 or more runners, 1 point win only when 4 runners or less)”.

After that, it changed to “stake either 1 point to win and 1 point to place or 2 points to win” and it was noted next to each bet whether it was to be a win or win & place.

Basically, it meant that win only bets were to be 2 points instead of 1 point going forward.

I can’t wait to see what happens during the rest of this trial! Could I even go on to triple my bank?

Results Update #2

I’m now three months into my Ten Pound Tipster review and the results have been nothing short of exceptional.

The service has racked up a total profit of 116.91 points, or £1,169.10 to £10 stakes, with a return on investment of 34.49%.

And just to remind you, every single bet has been settled at Betfair SP, which makes these results even more impressive.

It’s the kind of performance I dream of when running tipster reviews and the results graph speaks for itself!

Final Verdict

The vision behind Ten Pound Tipster was to create a horse racing tips service that’s affordable, yet still capable of delivering a meaningful profit to supplement your income.

Over the course of my three month review, they’ve not only lived up to that goal – they’ve exceeded it. It’s truly been an amazing performance from the tipster.

Total Profit In £

  • £10 per point: +£1,169.10
  • £25 per point: +£2,922.75
  • £50 per point: +£5,845.50

What’s more, you don’t even need traditional bookmaker accounts to follow along.

Every single bet is placed on the Betfair Exchange at SP, which makes this service ideal for those who have had their stakes limited at bookmakers.

I’m happy to recommend this tipster to anyone looking for consistent and simple betting with proven results.

Here’s hoping the winning run continues!
