Football First Review: Our Six Month Trial Results!

Introduction

Tagline: "Pro-trader shares his 20 year experience" - Betsocial

Welcome to our Football First review, where we find out whether football tipster Andrew Clarke is the real deal for long-term betting profits.

Andrew brings a unique perspective to football tipping, drawing on his extensive experience as a professional trader. His background includes working as an Index Analyst at FTSE and consulting for leading financial institutions and investment banks.

The advent of the Betfair Exchange in the early 2000s opened up a whole new world for his analytical approach, which he has applied to his Football First betting service.

Although Andrew refers to his selections as "trades," our review will focus on evaluating it as a straightforward betting service for clarity. However, the potential for trading these selections may exist.

Review Notes

For our Football First review, we tracked bets for six months to ensure that we had enough results to analyse and make an informed decision.

We tracked a total of 175 bets during our trial period spanning from October 2024 to April 2025.

Our full results are shown below based on £10 and £25 per point stakes.

Results

Our Football First trial was a resounding success, with the tipster delivering 26.19 points of profit with level 1 point stakes. This translates to an impressive 52.4% growth on our initial bank and a strong 14.97% return on investment.

Over the trial period, we experienced only one minor setback – a small 1.67 point loss in a single month. A truly commendable performance from the tipster!

Verdict

So, what's the final word on Football First?

Well, from our experience, it feels like you're getting tips from someone who really knows their stuff. That background in finance seems to translate into a pretty steady hand when it comes to football betting or trading.

The fact that we only had one little blip during the whole trial gives you a good sense that this is a reliable service.

If you're serious about your football betting and want a tipster who's shown they can deliver the goods consistently, then yes, we would definitely say Football First is one to consider.
